About the Event
DEPARTURE INFO
When: Wednesday, June 25 | Check-In: Starts at 9:00 AM in the church lobby
• Driving yourself? Make sure all your forms are completed, drop off your luggage, and then park in the auxiliary lot across the street.
• Getting dropped off? Just park in the main lot and head inside.
• We’ll hit the road shortly after everyone is checked in. Camp Michindoh is about 3 hours away!
Students need to bring lunch and a drink for the ride down, as the first meal we will eat won't be until 5:30 PM.
RETURN INFO
When: Sunday, June 29 | Estimated Arrival: Around 5:00 PM back at the church
We’ll have students send updates if we’re running late. Please plan to be on time for pickup—our leaders will have given a lot that week, and we’d love to get them home as soon as possible!
EXTRAS TO BRING
• Cash for food trucks, the Beachfront Snack Shack, and the Camp Store. The camp does take Apple Pay and card payments, but a little cash is never a bad idea in case they have issues with their internet.
• Students are allowed to bring phones, but they are 100% responsible for all technology they choose to bring.
REQUIRED FORMS
• You must turn in your Release & Permission Form to attend camp—no exceptions!
• A Medication Form is also attached. Students can manage their own meds or choose to turn them in to the camp nurse.
• Personal Vehicle Release (this means you can ride with Cindy, Lance, or John in their personal vehicles)
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
Please discuss camp hygiene with your student. Because we’re in cabins:
• Daily showers are a must—swimming in the lake does not count!
• Bring clean clothes for each day and some extras just in case.
• Use deodorant—your cabin mates will thank you!
