During the evening, we'll share a short video message from Randy and Ruth Pettinger, the missionaries we'll be serving alongside in Guatemala. You'll also meet the mission team and hear about how you can be part of this journey through your prayers, encouragement, and an opportunity to partner financially.⁠

We love seeing so many children join us each night, learning their memory verses, dancing, singing, playing and growing in their faith!

We have been having an absolute blast this week at VBS! Over 200 children have joined us each night on our KINGDOM QUEST as we have learned what it means to “Seek the Kingdom” and to worship the King of Kings!

We still have two nights left for more kids to join us (4year olds through those entering 5th grade). Just come at 6:00pm to register in person. The evening runs from 6:15-8:45pm.

High School Summer Camp is taking place from June 25–29 at Camp Michindoh, and we are so excited to be taking 68 from CW to join over 500 other high schoolers from around the region. We would love for you to join us in praying for this week—specifically for safety as we travel and take part in activities, for moments of rest (as much as possible), and most importantly, that the Holy Spirit would work deeply in the hearts and lives of every student and leader attending.⁠

Easter Weekend was such a special time as new friends and old gathered together to celebrate our risen Savior!

We are so thankful that because of the cross we have hope everyday. Thank you, Jesus, for your sacrifice and love!

What happened after Easter?

The resurrection wasn’t the end of the story—it was the beginning of everything being made new. But so often we pack up our celebration after Easter Sunday and miss some of the most stunning and hope-filled moments that followed. Here are a few you might not know:

✨The earth shook and tombs broke open—many holy people who had died were raised to life and appeared to many in Jerusalem (Matthew 27:52–53).

✨Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene in the garden, calling her by name (John 20:11–18).

✨He walked with two disciples on the road to Emmaus, opening the Scriptures and revealing himself in the breaking of bread (Luke 24:13–35).

✨He stood in the middle of a locked room, offering peace to fearful disciples and showing them his scars (John 20:19–23).

✨He returned for Thomas, meeting him in his doubt and inviting him to believe (John 20:24–29).

✨He cooked breakfast on the shore, restoring Peter’s heart and calling him to feed His sheep (John 21:1–19).

✨He gave the Great Commission, sending his followers to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18–20).

✨He ascended into heaven, promising the gift of the Spirit and his return (Acts 1:6–11).

The risen Christ was active. Present. Intentional. Healing wounds, calming fears, confirming faith, and commissioning his people.

This is why we don’t close our Bibles after Easter!

The empty tomb is a miracle worth celebrating—but it’s only the beginning of a story we’re invited to live into every day. God has done great things—and He is still at work.

Let this be our reminder: Easter is worth celebrating, but so is everything else God has done.

So let’s keep reading. Keep rejoicing. Keep returning to the Word that reveals the Risen One.

Holy Saturday is the space in between —⁠
Between the cross and the resurrection,⁠

Even in the waiting, His promises remain.⁠

Before the crown of thorns, there was a towel in His hands.⁠
