About the Event
Pack a Shoebox for Operation Christmas Child!
This year, Colonial Woods is partnering with Operation Christmas Child to help bring the joy of Christmas—and the hope of Jesus—to children around the world!
We will have 400 shoeboxes available for CW attendees to pick up at the kiosk tables in the lobby on Sundays and Wednesdays during service times on October 25, November 1, and November 8, while supplies last. Information and instructions on How to Pack a Shoebox will also be available to help you get started. Adhesive labels will be provided for each shoebox.
Once your shoebox is packed, bring it back to Colonial Woods along with the $10 shipping donation per box. We will collect completed shoeboxes in the Family Resource Center on Sunday mornings from 8:00–11:30 AM on November 8, November 15, and November 22.
You can also drop off shoeboxes at local Operation Christmas Child collection centers, including Operation Transformation and Lakeport Wesleyan Church, during National Collection Week, November 16–23. Collection center addresses and hours can be found on the Operation Christmas Child website.
Together, we can pack a box, share the Gospel, and bring hope to a child this Christmas!
